WWE will be taping two episodes of NXT next week.

October will be one of the busiest months of the year for WWE NXT. The developmental brand will not only host a new edition of Halloween Havoc, which this time will span two nights, but will also revive its old competition with All Elite Wrestling for one night when both share a time slot next Tuesday.

This showdown is something both companies are taking very seriously. AEW will present a new edition of AEW Dynamite: Title Tuesday, where several championships will be on the line, while NXT will feature important names from the main roster, such as John Cena and Cody Rhodes, which will undoubtedly help boost the show's viewership.

Meanwhile, WWE has sent an email to fans attending next week's NXT show to inform them that there will be a double taping session. Therefore, the episode on October 10th will be broadcast live, and then the one for the following week (October 17th) will be recorded.

It's highly likely that the company made this decision to prepare the venue and the set for the next two weeks (October 24th and 31st), when Halloween Havoc will take place. Similarly, it's expected that, during next week's tapings, the lineup for the traditional end-of-October event will be finalized. So far, only one match has been announced, pitting Becky Lynch against Lyra Valkyria for the Women's Championship of the brand, which will take place on the first night of this special event.

WWE NXT Schedule for October:

- October 10th (live)

- October 17th (taped)

- October 24th (NXT Halloween Havoc - Night 1) (live)

- October 31st (NXT Halloween Havoc - Night 2) (live)
