Jade Cargill's WWE Signing Creates Buzz Among Superstars
Jade Cargill has become one of the biggest wrestling sensations in recent weeks. After a remarkable stint with AEW, where she set several impressive records, the wrestler decided to leave the company and sign with WWE, a move that was announced with great fanfare by the Endeavor-owned promotion, clearly indicating their significant plans for her.
Even before her signing was official, rumors about her impending arrival in WWE were rampant, with wrestlers and wrestling personalities sharing their opinions on her immediate future. Once her contract was confirmed, reactions poured in, including those from her new colleagues, such as Becky Lynch.
At this point, it's unclear which brand Jade Cargill will debut on. However, if she appears on Friday Night SmackDown, she will have the interest of one of the brand's talents, Bobby Lashley, who, in a recent appearance on the 100.7 The Bay program, mentioned that the new addition to WWE would be a perfect fit for his new faction.
"It's a great signing for WWE because she made a huge impact in wrestling a few years ago with AEW. Her arrival signifies her level. She wanted to come here. This was her next step, which is a big deal. Regarding her arrival, there are only a few places I would put her. I know there's a group forming right now, and if that group had a female component, I think it would be even stronger. Maybe I'll have to give her a call to see what plans she has, but I think she would fit very well into our group if the opportunity arose. Wherever she goes, I know she's going to be a big star," stated Lashley.
Currently, Jade Cargill is training at the WWE Performance Center in preparation for her upcoming debut on the company's television programming. It's still unclear which brand she will be assigned to, but all indications suggest that her status will allow her to go directly to the main roster. We'll have to wait and see what plans the company has for one of the most hyped talents in recent years.
Meanwhile, Bobby Lashley has formed a new faction with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins (The Street Profits) on the blue brand, with the latter two turning heel in the process. Last week, Lashley gave them a chance to prove they are "hungry," which led to an attack on LWO and a tag team match at WWE Fastlane, where we will see The All Mighty in action for the first time since May.
