"WWE Fastlane 2023 achieves a record-breaking revenue."

"WWE continues to achieve impressive ticket sales for its events. Their weekly shows and premium events are selling nearly all their tickets, and even non-televised events are achieving figures not seen in many years.

One of the most profitable shows of the year took place on October 7th. Fastlane brought together over 12,000 people at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, with the presence of John Cena, a superstar who has been setting strong ticket sales records in recent Friday Night SmackDown events.

Brandon Thurston, a journalist for Wrestlenomics, made a post in which he stated that Fastlane might have become the most profitable WWE event in a non-stadium venue in the United States so far this year, making it one of the most profitable events in their history in a smaller arena.

"New Pollstar data shows that WWE Fastlane had a revenue of $1,181,229 from 12,046 tickets sold in Indianapolis on October 7," wrote Brandon Thurston. "WWE reported an attendance figure of approximately 14,584 fans, while WrestleTix approached 13,022 fans, including those with complimentary tickets."

"It's possibly the highest attendance for a professional wrestling show in a non-stadium arena in the U.S. this year, although we don't have information on Payback in Pittsburgh in September," he continued. "Paul Levesque said in the post-show press conference that it was the highest-grossing event in Indianapolis history, which would put it above the revenue for Wrestlemania 8 in 1992, which was slightly higher at the time, $1.25 million. As always, WWE may include fees in their announced figures while Pollstar does not, which could explain the discrepancy.

It's worth noting that this event featured several intriguing matches, including the tag team match between John Cena and LA Knight against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, as well as the main event, a match for the World Heavyweight Championship between Seth Rollins and Shinsuke Nakamura."
