After a surprising appearance at WWE Royal Rumble, Nia Jax made a permanent return to the company in September. On her first night back on Monday Night Raw, she attacked Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley, embarking on a path of destruction over the following weeks.
Her return didn't sit well with many fans who consider her a danger to the women's division. Nia Jax has faced criticism for years for injuring fellow wrestlers, such as Kairi Sane. However, the company has often portrayed her as a "Monster Heel." This creative decision pleases Booker T, who on the latest edition of his podcast, "The Hall of Fame," noted that this character is capable of selling tickets.
"I said Nia should've had a run as a champion a long time ago, long before she left the company and all of that. But I also said, if Nia gets the title, who's going to beat her? Who's going to take it off of her? It's that kind of thing where you put yourself in a booking predicament," explained Booker T.
"I want to see Nia Jax in that monster role, but it's kind of hard because when I look at her, I see a beautiful woman, and she plays the role of a beautiful woman, the beautiful monster. I want to see Nia Jax put that to the side, take the makeup off, and just go out there and beat someone up. That's the Nia Jax that's going to sell tickets. We need a monster like Awesome Kong to come in and turn everything upside down," Booker T asserted.
Since her return, Nia Jax has promised to take out anyone in her path. Women like Raquel Rodriguez, Rhea Ripley, Shayna Baszler, and Zoey Stark have stood up to her. As a result, the five of them will face off in a Fatal 5-Way at WWE Crown Jewel, where the Women's World Championship, currently held by Ripley, will be on the line.
