All Elite Wrestling commentator Tony Schiavone revealed on his podcast "What Happened When" that he was unaware of Adam Copeland's appearance at AEW WrestleDream. However, he emphasized that Copeland was very enthusiastic about being part of the company.
"I had no idea he was there, but I thought it was great. When he walked into the room, and Christian and he were face to face, it was a very, very cool moment, and the fans went crazy too. I was looking at them thinking, 'Man, that's a legendary tag team, and they're facing off.' So with all that, I thought it was a very good move, but no, I didn't know, and you know what? It's okay," Schiavone recalled about that night.
Adam Copeland, also known as Edge, interrupted Christian Cage and Luchasaurus during the TNT Champion's victory and attacked them both at the end of the AEW WrestleDream event. Tonight, The Rated-R Superstar will make his debut on AEW Dynamite, but his first match will take place next week.
Schiavone mentioned that Copeland would be appearing for an interview on AEW Dynamite and revealed that the Canadian wrestler had shown his excitement about being part of All Elite Wrestling.
"We did a very exclusive interview with him backstage afterward, and you can tell he's excited to be here in AEW," Tony expressed. "I'm sure as time goes on, it won't be the last surprise we give. I'm not going to give a spoiler because, again, I don't know, but as we move on through the years, you never know, right? I mean, think about Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley at the first AEW Double or Nothing."
